Thousand Oaks Family Photographer : Photographing Growing Families

I’ve said it before guys, but I have to tell you again! One of my favorite parts of being a Thousand Oaks family photographer is the opportunity to see families grow! This family happens to be one of the sweetest families I’ve photographed and I could not believe how much these kiddos had grown in the last year. Not only that but they had a new addition to their family- also one of my favorite parts of being a family photographer- getting to photograph your new little ones!

Thousand Oaks Family Photographer: Photographing Growing Families

Like I said, I photographed this family last year so I was so excited to photograph them again and to get to capture photos of the newest little addition to their family. As you can probably see in the background, big brother was far more concerned with exploring and finding sticks and rocks than having pictures taken with me 😉  And big sister was the biggest fan to date of this little guy that I keep on hand during family sessions! I love just getting to capture kids being kids on camera.

With plenty of downtime to run and play we were able to group up for some beautiful images that I think this family will treasure for years and years to come. As a mama myself I know that the work that goes into coordinating family photos and then getting everyone dressed and out the door can sometimes seem daunting. But I also know that as  mom, those images become a precious reminder of a time with your little ones that you just wish you could bottle up and keep forever. Knowing how precious these images are gives me so much joy as a Thousand Oaks family photographer. I am privileged to create more than just images- I’m helping preserve memories that will be treasured in the years to come.
